Grant Program

Westerra Credit Union is dedicated to promoting education and school-related activities by providing resources to assist teachers and schools in helping students achieve academic and personal success. This program strives to enhance students’ learning experiences through many ways, such as art supplies, sports fees and equipment, after school programs, workbooks or other programs your school determines most beneficial.

Eligibility
All Jeffco Public Schools or Denver Public Schools may apply. The grant application must be reviewed and signed by the school principal. Please limit one request per school per year.

Grant Size
Average grant size will be approximately $400 – $700 and will be issued to schools or departments (not individuals).

Application Deadline
There will be one grant cycle with the following application deadline:
Saturday, September 15, 2012

Grant awards will be announced approximately two weeks following the due date. Westerra will then coordinate presentation of the grant funds with your school. If you are selected to receive a grant, please share the successes and outcomes after funds are used. Letters, quotes, stories or photos may be published on our website or other Westerra materials.
