My Passion: My passion is digging in the garden
garden and watching things grow.
My first job in Denver was as an Aid for Denver Public
Schools. Since then I have built my own business with the help
of Westerra. For the past 25 years, I have developed a
thriving business as a consultant and teacher, traveling around
the country visiting exciting new places, meeting new people
and exploring this amazing country in which we live.
How Westerra works for me
I wanted to take a vacation. Westerra
was there for me and gave me my very first loan! Since then, my
cars, vacations, and growing business have been with the support
of Westerra. Thank you Westerra, it's been fun growing with you!

My Passion: We love to give to others!
My husband and I have a passion to give. Recently we've
been able to help out two different families with substantial
financial gifts to get them back on their feet again. We have
moderate jobs (I work two part time jobs while staying at
home to take care of our two little girls and he is a nurse) but
we are trying to be wise with our money and as generous as
we can.
How Westerra works for me
With direct deposit through Westerra we are able to keep one of
my sources of income accruing in an account until we have enough
to help someone out. With the online access I can check that
amount at anytime, and write a check to myself that arrives in a few
short days, without having to drive to the credit union. Thanks

My Passion: Teaching others and inspiring self
confidence
I am a teacher. I teach math and literature to elementary
school kids, science and theatre to high school kids, and
ballroom dance to adults. I will always be a teacher because of
the change I have seen. Kids going from dropouts to award
winners, kids going to college on full ride scholarships,
graduating college and being successful at that career
everyone said was useless, or even adults coming out of their
shell at the age of 67... everyone can grow and learn and I am
here to help.

I finally did something for me and was able to get the car of my
dreams. If I'm happy, it's easier to make everyone else happy.

My Passion: My passion is fishing, searching
the Internet, and learning things
of interest. Taking long walks with
my Bichon puppy whom I love
dearly (when I can keep up).
After retiring from DPS, I moved to Florida. The Christmas
tornado landed in an area to the right of me, the next tornado,
which occured a few months later, landed not too far to my
left. Am I lucky or what!
How Westerra works for me
I've been with Westerra since it was DPS Credit Union. I've been
very satistied with it and have decided not to transfer to a Florida
location. Everyone is so helpful.

My Passion: My passion is my family and my

My 10 year old daughter was diagnosed with bone cancer.
She needed a benefit account. I was crying and emotional and
yet Vanessa opened the account and made me feel important.

My Passion: I love to travel. I travel whenever I
can. I am going to Spain, France
and Portugal in three weeks and I
cannot wait.
I came to this country 12 years ago, and I didn't know how
anything worked. I started working as a teacher in Denver
Public Schools, and a colleague of mine told me about the
credit union. Since then, the credit union has been fantastic.
They helped me through all my finances needs. My husband
and I got the cars from the credit union; and they also help us
with our savings. Having our money in the credit union has
been a great experience!

My Passion: Music: I play piano, bass, and sing.
I teach Recording Arts to students who share my passion for
music, and I play in a band called ITK. I need a car to get
from one gig to the next. I was able to get a car loan with
