You can join if you’re a member of the Colorado Association of REALTORS®, live or work in the seven-county Denver metro area, are an immediate family member of an existing Westerra member, or contribute $5 to the Denver Public Schools Foundation, you are eligible for Westerra membership. To become a member, you must open a share savings account with a $5 deposit, which is put on hold and represents your partial Westerra Credit Union ownership. This deposit makes you not only a member, but an owner-member — with access to better rates and lower fees.

To participate, individuals must be legal residents of the United States of America, at least 18 years of age and new members of Westerra Credit Union. They must also be an active member of CAR ( Colorado Association of Realtors). Eligible participants are required to enter their unique REALTORS identification number (NRDS) on the CAR Welcome Offer site and complete the on-screen signup form. To complete the signup process, eligible participants must open either a Smart Money Checking or Money Market Select account online. Upon signup, the individual will receive subsequent communications regarding the bonus reward. Individuals (Members of CAR) must complete the signup process by opening either a Smart Money Checking or Money Market Select account online by Dec. 31st to get the limited-time bonus offer of $100.
Eligibility Requirements:
1) The Individual must be a member of the Colorado Association of REALTORS® in good standing. 2) The Individual must be at least 18 years of age and must be a new member of Westerra. 3) A $5 prime share deposit is required for membership. 4) A $5 opening deposit is required for a Smart Money Checking or Money Market Select account. 5) To qualify for the bonus, a minimum balance of $5 must be maintained for 30 days from the date of account opening.
After opening a Smart Money Checking or Money Market Select online and fulfilling all requirements, the member will receive a $25 bonus, plus a limited-time $100 bonus in the form of gift cards, and his or her foundation will also receive a donation of $25 in the form of a check. Bonuses are subject to verification and are reportable for tax purposes. Rewards redemption emails will be sent within five (5) business days of after the eligible participant meets all offer requirements.
