Denver, CO – May 10, 2023 – Westerra Credit Union announces Kevin Kendall has joined their thriving Mortgage team as a Mortgage Lending Officer. With 15 years of experience in the mortgage industry, his most recent role being at Wells Fargo, Kendall brings an approach to mortgage lending that is 100% client and customer focused.
“The mortgage process is a personal process and I take a client's business and trust very seriously,” said Kendall. “To me, I view our work with them as a lifelong relationship and look to always provide loan options that will best fit their specific needs.”While his experience positions him well to make a positive contribution to Westerra’s members, Michelle Burke, VP Mortgage Lending, additionally notes, “Kevin’s commitment to being a trusted advisor for clients and putting the member experience first aligns with our purpose here at Westerra.”
With prior roles in customer service, Kendall has translated his experience in that area to his work in the mortgage business as it empowers him to exceed client expectations and be proud of a client base that returns again and again for future mortgage needs
Jeff White, Westerra’s Director of Mortgage Development & Sales, previously worked with Kendall and has seen his professionalism, dedication, work ethic, and credit acumen firsthand. “Kevin’s experience and intellect allows him to take the most complicated of mortgage transaction and skillfully guide his clients through the process,” said White. “He accomplishes this while simultaneously ensuring their short-term and long-term financial goals are being met.”
A Colorado native who spent some time in New Zealand, Kendall now resides in in Lafayette, CO with his wife and two children. In his spare time, he and his family enjoy camping, boating and skiing, as well as golfing and fly-fishing.
We are excited to announce that we will be hosting our annual all staff meeting and afternoon of service, "Volunterra" this Thursday from 12:00-5:00 P.M. MDT. During this meeting staff will work together to build kits to help support our community.
