2017-2018 Grant Recipients

Westerra has awarded grants to 100 schools for the 2017-2018 school year for extremely valuable and worthwhile causes. We are honored to support our schools in helping students work toward achieving academic and personal success. The following schools received grants from Westerra Credit Union.

Aurora Public Schools

  • Academy of Advanced Learning - MP3 players to hear lessons and themselves reading
  • Altura Elementary - Implement an afterschool STEM program for the entire school
  • Aurora Central - ESL resources for students new to English
  • Dalton Elementary - 4th & 5th Grade reading materials to increase engagement
  • Park Lane Elementary School - High quality children's literature for Kindergarteners

Denver Public Schools

  • Bear Valley International School (Henry) - Sports equipment
  • College View Elementary - Classroom projector
  • Collegiate Preparatory Academy - Pathway to Healthy Relationships curriculum
  • Cowell Elmentary School - Spanish books for grades 1-3
  • Denver Discovery School - Sports equipment
  • Denver Green School - Uniforms and play to pay fees
  • Denver Kids program at McAuliffe International School - Uniforms, shoes and eye wear for students to participate in sports.
